The Japanses Bamboo Baren from Yasutomo is a handmade, reliable tool most frequently used in traditional Japanese woodcut printing (Ukiyo-e). This baren has a tough surface befitting a frequently used tool, and a strong grain that allows efficient application of uniform pressure on the paper. The baren enables you to uniformly transfer images onto paper and smooth items down after applying glue.
