Have we got a story for you this week! Buckle up and prepare yourselves for an international escapade like no other. Our very own jet-setting duo, Jojo and Sharon, have been globe-trotting in search of the most luxurious and exclusive watercolor sets for you, our fabulous art community. And where did they find these treasures, you ask? From the crème de la crème of luxury travel destinations—each more glamorous than the last. All in the name of MaimeriBlu, of course!
Let’s dive into their high-octane, champagne-soaked, artistically inspired journey to bring you the newest additions to the MaimeriBlu watercolor lineup. We promise, it’s as wild as it is wonderful.
Stop #1: The Arctic – Jojo's Frozen Fiasco
First stop: the Arctic. Why, you ask? Well, only the finest and most remote luxury destinations could possibly be worthy of the Arctic Edition MaimeriBlu watercolor set.
Jojo, ever the daring spirit, thought, "Why not add a little skiing to the mix?" He imagined himself as a cool, calm, and collected ski expert, gliding effortlessly through pristine snow. Spoiler alert: the only thing Jojo was gliding on was his own overconfidence. With every graceful tumble down the slope, Jojo seemed to add another layer of snow to his ego (and his dignity). Sharon, meanwhile, was lounging inside a heated yurt, sipping hot cocoa and pretending she didn’t know him. But we digress—Jojo did manage to finally catch his breath long enough to bring back a set of stunning blues and brights- inspired by the icy vistas of the North. The Arctic Edition truly captures the serene beauty of the frozen tundra, minus the bruises Jojo accrued on his impromptu downhill adventures.
Stop #2: Provence – Sharon Gets Lost in Lavender
Next stop: Provence, France. Ah, Provence! Fields of lavender as far as the eye can see, sun-dappled streets, and the sweet, heady fragrance of French elegance. Jojo was off to the side, gloating over his victory in the Arctic (and recovering from his snow-related mishaps), but Sharon, bless her heart, was on a mission: to find the perfect set of soft purples and delicate greens inspired by Provence’s lavender fields.
Now, here’s where things took a turn. Sharon, in her relentless pursuit of lavender perfection, wandered a bit too far into the fields. Not for a moment did she think she would get lost. But, dear readers, Provence’s lavender fields are more labyrinthine than they appear. Between the heat, the lavender-induced euphoria, and a glass of local rosé (or three), Sharon found herself deep in the aromatic wilderness, lost amongst the purple haze. Hours later, after a small amount of panic and some mild sunstroke, Sharon was finally rescued by a local farmer—who had been laughing at her hilarious antics the entire time. But no worries! She still managed to get the Provence watercolor set, which, let’s be honest, looks like a jewel-toned sunset in paint form. It’s everything Provence is: vibrant, serene, and a little bit unpredictable (just like Sharon).
Stop #3: The Sahara – Champagne & Camels, Darling!
The Sahara Desert. A sprawling sea of sand, endless dunes, and, of course, luxury yurt camping. While most people might think of the Sahara as hot, barren, and devoid of excitement, Jojo and Sharon saw it as an opportunity for indulgence. Forget the dunes—what they wanted was pure decadence: camel rides, fine dining under the stars, and, naturally, champagne!
Let’s talk about that champagne. Jojo, ever the connoisseur, had a little too much of it before his camel ride. The camels, though dignified, were not impressed with Jojo’s wobbly attempts at maintaining his balance. After a very graceful tumble off the camel and into a dune (let’s just say he had sand in places no one should ever have sand), Jojo was ready for some real luxury. But alas, the Sahara has a way of humbling even the most glamorous of us. Sharon, having maintained perfect poise (and a moderate level of champagne consumption), was sipping her bubbly inside a yurt, flipping through fashion magazines while Jojo flailed in the sand like an overenthusiastic ostrich! But through it all, they managed to secure the Sahara Edition watercolor set—radiating golds, rich earth tones, and a spicy orange- inspired by the dunes at sunset. It’s a set that shouts “glamour” and “adventure” in one swoop—just like Jojo after a few too many drinks!
Stop #4: Venice – Sharon's Lavender Escape (Round Two)
Last, but certainly not least, our duo finds themselves in Venice. Canals, masquerade balls, and enough fine wine to make even the most discerning of art enthusiasts swoon. This time, Sharon was ready. She’d learned her lesson from Provence. “This time, I’ll stay on the path,” she promised herself. Spoiler alert: she didn’t.
Wandering off again into the side streets (but this time, intentionally), Sharon found herself in the middle of a glorious plaza, not exactly what she had envisioned. To be fair, she had also been sidetracked by a particularly charming local who insisted she try “just one more glass of Chianti.” Four glasses later, Sharon was once again lost, but not in panic—more in a haze of blissful, Chianti-induced wanderlust. After a delightful few hours of contemplative pondering and accidental selfies in the back of a gondola, Sharon was found and returned to the group, a little tipsy but fully in possession of the Venice watercolor set—soft, lush greens, and deep italian earth tones that scream “I’m in Venice, and life is beautiful!!!!!”
