Holbein linseed oil is a highly viscous, thermal polymerized linseed oil that increases the transparency and gloss finish of oil colors. To adjust to the exact finish or viscosity you desire, you can add water to your linseed oil to thin it out. It may appear cloudy when mixed with water, but the mixture will dry clear, and performance will be unaffected. This oil will not affect color brilliance and is ideal for use in glazing or wash effects.
