Gamblin Oil Painting Ground, 32oz

Gamblin Oil Painting Ground is made from alkyd resin, titanium dioxide and barium sulfate. When applied to a painting surface it creates a bright white, strong, non-absorbent foundation for oil painting. This oil ground makes canvas and linen stiffer than acrylic gesso and more flexible than traditional oil primers, and improves color saturation as it reduces absorbency of your chosen surface. Mix with oil colors to create a tinted ground.
