Golden Pastel Ground prepares your paper, canvas, or other primed support with a toothy surface perfect for the application of pastels. This surface prep can be used with dry, water-based, and oil-based media and can even be tinted with acrylic colors. The product is extremely thick and can be watered down to create your desired consistency.
