Jacquard Marbling Kit

Paper marbling is historically associated with book arts, but it can be used for a variety of other works such as making your own patterned fabric, wrapping paper, greeting cards, fine art and more. The technique involves floating paints on the surface of a gel-like medium and then transferring this floating design onto paper or fabric, and each design is as unique as a snowflake or fingerprint. Easy to use with high-quality results, this kit includes 6 marbling colors in ½oz bottles (yellow, red, violet, blue, white and black), ½oz of synthetic gall, 4oz of alum (mordant), 1oz of carrageenan, and instructions. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
