Methocel (Methylcellulose) is an economical, long-lasting, synthetic thickener that provides a viscous surface for fabric and paper marbling. It is also used in books arts as a paper sizing, for paste papers, and to slow the drying time of PVA glues.
- Can be used with household ammonia
- Use at room temperature only
- Dissolves faster than Carrageenan
