Holbein’s Spirit of Turpentine is an oil distilled from gum turpentine or pine wood. Used to thin oil colors, this medium provides a light watercolor effect ideal for glazing or underpainting, and can be mixed with all oil colors and in small amounts with oil mediums for varied effects.
